The Solace Creek Stories Project

     A long-term comprehensive creative work, involving fiction, art, and interactive web experiences, the Solace Creek Project is set in the fictional Village of Solace Creek, Colorado,  (think Aspen without the ski hill) , and the neighboring Boulder-Springs Metroplex.  Something new is added to the project every day. It may be a new excerpt, a new character sketch, the formation of a new company... something on sale at SeemsFree... who knows? 
      To-date, over 350 characters have been created to populate this world, where right-wing evangelists and corporate leaders have joined forces to buy control of the US government all the way to the White House.  These are not horror stories, at least not as we normally think of them, but stories set in the most horrific environment I can imagine... a United States on the verge of removing the First Amendment from the Constitution.  No more separation of church and state.  All media must submit to periodic clerical review.
     It's said that "Nothing is true unless you see it on TV or read it in the newspaper."  Therefore, several media organizations are integral to the project; along with the world's largest fictional retailer, and numerous other businesses and organizations.
